RocketReach is a B2B data broker that has profiles on 700 million professionals. 

The information within these profiles is scraped from online sources (for example, LinkedIn) and includes details like your full name, job title, company name, work and personal emails, skills, and social media links. 

Having your data available on data brokers like RocketReach can increase the amount of spam you receive and put you at a higher risk of social engineering attacks. We know from leaked chat logs that cybercriminal groups use B2B data brokers to find targets for phishing attacks and people to “name drop” in social engineering campaigns.

Opt out of RocketReach in five steps. 

Go to https://rocketreach.co/ and scroll to the bottom of the page. 

Click “Do Not Sell My Info” in the footer.

2. Fill out your personal information and click “Opt Me Out”

You will be redirected to an online form. Fill it out. 

Enter your name, company, RocketReach profile or LinkedIn URL, and email address. 

Click the “Submit Request” button.

3. Go to your email and click “Claim Profile”

RocketReach will send you a verification email. 

Go to your email inbox and click the “Claim Profile” button in the email from RocketReach.

Note: If you don’t see the email from RocketReach, check your spam folder.

4. Click “Remove My Profile”

You will now see information from your profile. 

You can update this information, download your data, or remove your profile.

Click “Remove My Profile” to opt out of RocketReach.

5. Click “Remove My Profile”

RocketReach will ask you why you want your profile to be removed. If you want to, you can give them a reason (this is optional).

Your information has been removed from RocketReach with immediate effect. However, it may take a few weeks for the changes to be reflected by search engines and for your RocketReach profile to stop appearing when someone searches your name.

How do I remove my information from RocketReach?

To remove your information from RocketReach, go to the RocketReach website and click “Do Not Sell My Info” in the footer. 

You will be redirected to an online form. Fill it out and click “Submit Request.”

RocketReach will send you a verification email. Click “Claim Profile” within this email. 

Then, click “Remove My Profile.”
