How to Remove Yourself from Public Records Directory
Public Records Directory’s opt-out process is flawed. They request that they simply send them the URL of your listing, but they make it difficult, if not impossible, to find this URL. As a result, there are two options:
1a. Perform a site-specific Google Search. Type “site:publicrecords.directory [your name]” into Google. This might allow you to find your direct listing. Copy the link of your URL.
1b. If you can’t find your listing that way, just copy and paste the URL from your regular search.
2. Fill out your name and email address (we recommend using a Masked Email from Blur). Choose “Opt-out from website” in the dropdown menu, paste the URL from your Google Search or your search, and paste your full listing into the comments section. Finally, complete the CAPTCHA and click “Submit”.
3. It could take over seven days for your information to be removed.
