If you’re thinking of using Mistplay, you need to know: Is Mistplay a scam?

Below, we explain whether Mistplay is a scam and discuss some steps you can take to improve your safety with this platform.

What Is Mistplay?

Mistplay describes itself as a “loyalty program for Android mobile gamers.” Basically, it’s a mobile platform that lets users earn rewards for playing mobile games.

Mistplay

It has a catalog of over 400 mobile games, so you can try new titles or stick with the ones you know and like.

As you play games through the Mistplay app, you accumulate Units based on your gameplay time and achievements. You can then exchange these Units for rewards, like gift cards from Amazon, Google Play, PayPal, Xbox, Visa, GameStop, Starbucks, and others.

You can also unlock badges by completing specific missions within the games, which increases the number of Units earned.

Occasionally, Mistplay runs sweepstakes you can enter to win prizes, such as game consoles and additional gift cards.

Mistplay collaborates with game publishers and advertisers, offering a play-and-earn solution to improve user engagement on a global scale.

The platform is designed primarily for Android users and is unavailable for iOS in most markets.

Is Mistplay a Scam?

Depends on who you ask.

Looking at online forums, Mistplay reviews are mixed, though many users confirm that Mistplay is a legitimate platform and that they’ve made cash from playing games through it.

Positive Reddit post about Mistplay

In general, these users report steady, though slow, earnings. Users have to spend numerous hours playing various games to accumulate enough points for meaningful rewards.

A small number of users say that Mistplay works until you want to cash out, at which point, it says you’ve violated the terms of service. Users should adhere to Mistplay’s terms of service and avoid any activities that might be flagged as fraudulent (including using a VPN).
