What Is the Do Not Call List Nebraska?

There’s no such thing as the state of Nebraska Do Not Call List (or Do Not Call Registry Nebraska).

Instead, Nebraska residents are encouraged to register their cell and home phone numbers with the national Do Not Call List.

Business phone numbers are exempt from the national DNC List. 

Once your phone number is listed on the national DNC List, telemarketers should stop calling/texting you within 31 days (with a few exceptions). 

You don’t need to re-register your phone number – once it’s on the national DNC List, it’s there forever unless your number is disconnected or you remove your number from the list. 

Exceptions 

You can still receive the following calls even if your number is on the national DNC List: 

• Political calls
• Charitable calls
• Survey calls
• Debt collection calls
• Informational calls
• Calls from businesses you have an existing relationship with
• Calls for which you’ve given prior written consent.

Nebraska Do Not Call List Registration

Since the Nebraska Do Not Call List (Nebraska DNC List) doesn’t exist, you can’t register for it.

If you’re still getting unwanted calls after your number is listed on the national DNC List, they’re more than likely coming from scammers. 

The best thing you can do to stop these calls is reduce your phone number’s visibility. 

To do that: 

• Make sure you don’t have your phone number listed on any of your social media profiles (or elsewhere online, like personal blogs). 
• Opt out of data brokers. 

Data brokers (also known as people search sites) are companies that gather your personal details, including phone numbers, from public records, social media, etc., and then publish this information on their websites, which can then be accessed for free or a small fee by pretty much anyone.
