The TL;DR Version: Do Not Call List New Hampshire
Here’s everything you need to know about the state of New Hampshire Do Not Call List (New Hampshire DNC List) at a glance.

- How to sign up: Fill out an online registration form or call 1-888-382-1222.
- How to unsubscribe: Call 1-888-382-1222 from the number registered on the National DNC List.
- How to file a complaint: Fill out a complaint form.
- How to verify your registration: Use the ‘Verify a Registration’ form.

What Is the Do Not Call List New Hampshire?
There isn’t a Do Not Call New Hampshire List. Instead of maintaining its own Do Not Call Register, New Hampshire has adopted the national Do Not Call List.
As a result, New Hampshire residents looking to limit unwanted calls from telemarketers should register with the national DNC List. Cell and home phone numbers are accepted; business numbers are not.
Telemarketers are obliged to stop calling you within 31 days of your number appearing on the national DNC List (with a few exceptions – see below).
Once your number is on the list, it’s there for good, i.e., you don’t need to re-register in a few years time. You only need to re-register if you take your number off the list yourself or if your number is disconnected.
Exceptions
The Do Not Call List doesn’t apply to the following:
- Political calls
- Charitable calls
- Survey calls
- Debt collection calls
- Informational calls
- Calls from businesses you have an existing relationship with
- Calls for which you’ve given prior written consent.

What to Do If You’re Still Getting Unsolicited Calls
Even if you register with the national Do Not Call List, you will more than likely still receive unwanted calls.
This is because scammers don’t care about the national DNC List.
The only way to prevent unwanted callers from contacting you is to hide your phone numbers.
Make sure your numbers are not visible on social media profiles, personal blogs, and other online sources you control.
Then, take the time to remove yourself from data brokers.
Data brokers (and people search sites) collect your personal details – including phone numbers – from multiple sources, collate these details into profiles, and sell/share these profiles with anyone.
Here’s what a typical data broker profile looks like:
Luckily, you can “opt out” from most data brokers and people search sites.
Our opt-out guides show you how.
Be sure to revisit data brokers and people search sites periodically. Brokers republish your profile when they find more data about you, so you need to be opting out regularly.
