If you’re thinking of using Pro Power Save, you need to know: Is Pro Power Save a scam?
Below, we explain whether Pro Power Save is a scam and discuss some steps you can take to improve your safety when using this device.
What Is Pro Power Save?
The Pro Power Save is an energy-saving device. At least, that’s how it’s marketed.

The device can apparently significantly reduce household electricity bills and protect electronic appliances from power surges and electromagnetic radiation.
Its functionality is described using terms like “power factor correction,” “noise suppression,” and “magnetic filters.”
The Pro Power Save is marketed through various online platforms, often accompanied by false endorsements from celebrities like Elon Musk and Joanna Gaines.
Is Pro Power Save a Scam?
Yes. Pro Power Save is not regarded as a legitimate energy-saving solution and is considered a scam.
Independent reviews and tests have shown that the Pro Power Save does not actually reduce electricity consumption.
One internet user said they took the Pro Power Save device apart and found that “all it does is power an led.”

Investigations by safety organizations have shown that devices like the Pro Power Save are often cheaply constructed and may pose fire and shock hazards.
Some units have been found to actually increase electrical consumption rather than decrease it.
The company behind Pro Power Save also uses misleading advertising tactics, including fabricated testimonials and unauthorized use of celebrity images. There is no legitimate connection between the device and celebrities supposedly endorsing it.
For example, the claim that Elon Musk endorsed Pro Power Saver and Tesla was debunked by Snopes in 2023.

Yet in 2024, social media advertisements continued to falsely say that Elon Musk developed a device capable of reducing household energy consumption by up to 90%.

These ads also claimed that the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) acknowledged and approved the device, allowing its legal sale.
In reality, the DoJ has not initiated or dropped any charges related to such a device, and there is no record of Elon Musk being affiliated with the company promoting the device.
Of course, if you buy it, you are unlikely to get your money back.

So, Should You Use Pro Power Save?
No, you should not use Pro Power Save. It offers no real financial or safety advantages and may actually pose fire and shock hazards.
