Coresignal collects publicly available, business-related information such as company details, job postings, and professional profiles. Coresignal does not collect private or sensitive personal data such as social security numbers, home addresses, or biometric data.

Coresignal was previously registered as a data broker in California under the Attorney General’s oversight. However, it is not currently listed in the updated CPPA registry and does not meet the CPPA’s definition of a data broker.

Recent legislative changes in California, such as the transfer of data broker registration oversight to the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA), have redefined the scope of entities considered data brokers. This guide reflects those changes to provide accurate and up-to-date information.

Opt out of CoreSignal in two steps. 

1. Go to the CoreSignal website and click “Privacy rights information” in the footer 

Go to http://coresignal.com/ and scroll to the bottom of the page. 

Click “Privacy rights information” in the footer.

2. Fill out the form

Scroll down until you see an online form. Fill it out.

Enter your first name, last name, and email address.

Paste in your LinkedIn profile URL.

Select your status of residency. 

Select your request type.

Click the appropriate checkbox. 

Click the confirmation checkbox. 

Click the “Submit” button.

Your CoreSignal opt-out request was submitted.
