Never Back Down Mailing List Removal Guide

Follow the below guide to achieve Never Back Down Mailing List removal.

If you’re receiving unwanted mail from Never Back Down, the super political action committee (PAC) supporting Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s 2024 presidential campaign, there are a few ways to unsubscribe.

Since DeSantis has dropped out of the race, you shouldn’t be receiving mail from the Super PAC, but if you are, read on.

How to Unsubscribe from the Never Back Down Mailing List

When you receive physical mail from the Never Back Down campaign, check to see if there’s a contact number on it.

Call the number and ask to be removed from the mailing list. You can also email them at info@neverbackdown.org.

What to Do If You Keep Receiving Never Back Down Mail

If you continue to receive physical mail even after contacting the campaign to opt out, you can write “Refused: Return to sender” on the front of any unwanted and unopened mail with a return address and put it back in the mail.

Voting early can also help, as doing so will update your status in county voter lists.

Once political campaigns determine that you’ve voted, they aren’t likely to continue contacting you, as their resources will be focused on undecided or uncommitted voters.

Keep in mind, however, that different counties update their voter registration lists at different times, meaning there may be a delay between when you vote and how quickly you’re removed from the Never Back Down mailing list.

How to Unsubscribe from the Never Back Down Email List

If you’ve been receiving Never Back Down emails, you can unsubscribe from the super PAC’s campaign directly in your inbox.

This is what the super PAC recommends you do in their privacy policy.

Never back down privacy policy - email signups

Open the email and look for an “Unsubscribe” link at the top beside the sender’s name or at the bottom of the email.

Note that you may still receive emails for a short time after unsubscribing due to promotions that are currently underway. As the campaign’s privacy policy explains, “Please allow us a reasonable period of time to satisfy your request, as some promotions may already be in process.”

If you keep receiving Never Back Down emails even after unsubscribing and allowing any in-progress promotions to finish, you have a few different options.

One is to move the emails into the “Junk” folder, which can teach your email service to do that in the future (depending on the email service).

Another way to stop Never Back Down emails from entering your inbox is to block the sending address.

You can also create a filter that automatically moves the emails into the “Trash” or “Spam” folder.

How to Stay Off the Never Back Down (And Other Super PACs) Mailing List for Good

It can be frustrating to receive junk mail from political campaigns – especially if you never even signed up for it. In fact, many political campaigns, along with telemarketers, phone scammers, identity thieves, and more, get your contact information from data brokers.

Data brokers are companies that gather personal information about you from a variety of sources (public records, social media, other brokers, etc.)  and compile it into profiles that are sold to anyone willing to pay a small fee.

The good news is that you can opt out of data brokers at any time. The bad news is that you will need to opt out of every data broker (of which there are more than 500) with a profile on you. In addition, you’ll need to repeat the process every few months, as data brokers reactivate profiles when new information is uncovered about you online.

To avoid this time-consuming process while still taking steps to preserve your digital privacy, you can sign up for a data broker removal service such as DeleteMe, which can handle the opt-out process for you.
