Opt out of Risk.LexisNexis in three steps.
1. Go to the Risk.LexisNexis website and click “Your Privacy Choices” in the footer
Go to http://risk.lexisnexis.com/ and scroll to the bottom of the page.
Click “Your Privacy Choices” in the footer under ‘Policies.’
2. Fill out the form
A new tab will open up with an online form. Fill it out.
Enter your first name, last name, street address, city, state, and zip.
If your delivery address (mailing address) is not the same as your residential address, click the checkbox and enter your delivery address.
If you want a copy of your information, click the checkbox beside ‘Request Your Consumer Disclosure Report’.
Click the checkbox beside ‘Request a Description of Procedure Letter’ if you want to receive a letter from LexisNexis that is personal to your dispute request(s) and describes how LexisNexis processes disputes that you may have in the system.
Select your privacy request.
Enter your email (optional, but must be provided and verified to include email-linked data in your LexisNexis report).
Enter your phone number (optional).
Enter your date of birth.
Click the “I’m not a robot” checkbox.
Click the “Submit Request” button.
Your Risk.LexisNexis opt-out request was submitted.
Risk.LexisNexis will send you an email to confirm your identity.
3. Click the email confirmation link
Go to your email inbox and find the email from Risk.LexisNexis.
Note: If you don’t see an email from Risk.LexisNexis, check your spam folder.
Click the confirmation link within it.
You confirmed your email.
