What Is the Do Not Call List Ohio?

Do Not Call Ohio List doesn’t exist. 

Ohio has adopted the national Do Not Call List. As a result, you will not find a separate Do Not Call Registry Ohio. 

Ohio residents should register with the national Do Not Call List to get fewer unsolicited calls and texts. Signing up for the national DNC List is free. 

Both home and cell phone numbers are permitted; business numbers are not allowed. 

Once you register with the national DNC List, telemarketers are legally required to stop contacting you within 31 days (some telemarketers are exempt from the national DNC List – see below for more information). 

Numbers remain on the national DNC List indefinitely unless they are disconnected or you remove them. 

Exceptions 

The national DNC List permits the following calls:

• Charitable calls
• Survey calls
• Debt collection calls
• Informational calls
• Calls from businesses you have an existing relationship with
• Calls for which you’ve given prior written consent.
