Clothing retailer Boden is known to send frequent mailings to U.S. households, including marketing material and catalogs.

As a result of the unwanted junk mail, many of our customers have asked us how they can unsubscribe from Boden’s mailing list.

Thankfully, recipients of Boden mailings are able to cancel the catalog quite easily, and can even put an end to receiving junk mail from the company entirely.

What type of mail does Boden send?

Mostly, Boden is known for sending their flagship catalog to their mailing list. It features retail clothing products and is typically mailed out seasonally.

If you’re a Boden customer, you obviously receive your purchase orders via mail, but it’s also likely that you receive marketing fliers or special offer announcements as well.

How can you cancel Boden catalogs?

If you want to unsubscribe from Boden’s mailing list to stop receiving catalogs, you can do so through their website.

  • Subscribers with an online account should sign in and go to My Account > Marketing Preferences > Sharing My Details With Boden.
  • If you are not an account holder, contact the Boden customer service team. You can contact them by email at custserv@bodenusa.com, or call 1-866-206-9508. More customer service information is available here

How long does it take to stop receiving catalogs from Boden?

According to Boden, it takes 5 days to unsubscribe from the email list. They do not state how long it takes for the opt-out process from catalog mailing to take effect.

In our experience, however, it usually takes between 4 and 6 weeks for a direct mail opt out to be completed.

What if I keep receiving catalogs from Boden after opting out?

If you’ve formally opted out and waited more than 6 weeks, but continue to receive catalogs from Boden, there are a few options you can consider.

First, send the catalogs back to Boden. If there’s a return address, simply write “Refused: Return to Sender” and put it back in the mail. Also, consider making a formal complaint by contacting Boden customer service at 1-866-206-9508.

Still other options include enlisting the help of the following independent databases that are designed to help you stop junk mail:

  • Catalog Choice is a website that helps stop the delivery of unwanted catalogs by making sure you’re unsubscribed from each website.
  • DMAchoice can help you opt out of further marketing. For $2 and 10 years of coverage, you can select the junk mail you wish to stop receiving.

Also, make sure to review our recent catalog opt out guide on catalogs for a step-by-step guide on all the ways you can opt out of every type of catalog mailing list.

How can I stay off Boden’s mailing list?

While any or all of the above options can be effective, it still might not guarantee you’ll remain off the Boden mailing list for good.

Most importantly, make sure you never consent to marketing material any time you interact with Boden in the future. But, to go a step further, opt out of data-broker platforms entirely.

Data brokers harvest, bundle, and sell your personal identifiable information (PII) to third-party marketers who use it to spam you with junk mail and robocalls. Unfortunately, with over 500+ data brokers in operation, opting out of each site can be a time-consuming process.

Your best bet is to hire a data broker removal specialist like DeleteMe to do all the hard work for you, and then some. At DeleteMe, we are privacy experts who have been helping customers take control and secure their online information for a decade.
Speak to a DeleteMe privacy officer today to find out how we can help for as little as $10.75 a month. We guarantee you’ll see a reduction in the amount of catalogs you receive.
