Follow the guide below to learn how to complete a People Search Now opt out.

People Search Now is a people search site.

It says it makes it a “breeze to view results for hundreds of millions of adults across the country [US], broken down by name, phone number, and location.”

While People Search Now can be helpful for locating long-lost family members and friends or finding out the owners of unlisted phone numbers, people search sites like this can also be used for stalking, doxxing, phishing attacks, and more.

Luckily, you can remove your personal data from People Search Now. Keep on reading for step-by-step instructions on how to opt out of People Search Now.

What Happens After You Opt Out of People Search Now?

Once you opt out of People Search Now, your records will be hidden, meaning that your personal data will no longer be findable through People Search Now.

However, your opt-out may not be permanent. People search sites are known to relist people’s data when they come across more of it, even if they had previously opted out.

For this reason, it’s a good idea to recheck these sites periodically to ensure your personal information was not relisted. If it was, you’ll need to opt out again.

As an alternative to manual opt outs, you can subscribe to a data broker removal service such as DeleteMe, which will opt you out on your behalf – and make sure you remain opted out.

To remove your personal information from People Search Now, you need to complete their opt-out process. See our detailed People Search Now opt-out guide for step-by-step instructions.

How does People Search Now know my phone number?

People Search Now knows your number because it scraped it from elsewhere online.

Like every other people search site and data broker, People Search Now collects people’s personal information from various sources, including public records, and then publishes it on their own site.

Does PeopleSearchNow notify the person?

No, PeopleSearchNow does not notify the person you’re looking up.

However, this also means there is no way for you to know when someone searches for you on PeopleSearchNow, either.

For this reason, you should remove your details from PeopleSearchNow by following our PeopleSearchNow opt out guide.

Is PeopleSearchNow safe?

PeopleSearchNow is safe in the sense that visiting the official PeopleSearchNow site is unlikely to get your device infected with malware.
