Walkthrough to Delete Your Amazon Account
Delete your Amazon account in five steps.
1. Log in to Amazon
Go to amazon.com and use your username and password to log in to the platform.
2. Open your account settings
Click “Account & List” in the top right.
3. Click “Close Your Amazon Account” under ‘Data and Privacy’
Scroll down to the ‘Data and Privacy’ section.
Click “Close Your Amazon Account.”
4. Choose a reason for closing your account, confirm you want to close it, and click “Close My Account”
Scroll down and select a reason why you want to close your Amazon account.
Click the checkbox confirming that you want to permanently close your Amazon account.
Click the “Close My Account” button.
5. Click the email confirmation link
You will see a message notifying you that a confirmation link will be sent to your email.
After receiving the email with the confirmation link, click the “Confirmation Account Closure” button.
Your request to close your Amazon account has been confirmed.
Your Amazon account is in the process of being deleted.
