1. Access the LinkedIn website

You can access the LinkedIn website by clicking on the following URL: https://www.linkedin.com/. 

2. Login into your account

Enter your credentials to log in to your LinkedIn account.

You can access the login page directly by clicking on the following URL: https://www.linkedin.com/checkpoint/lg/sign-in-another-account. 

3. Click your profile picture icon and “Settings & Privacy”

Click on the icon with your profile picture in the top right corner.

Then select the “Settings & Privacy” option.

4. Click “Close Account”

Once in the settings menu, scroll down to the bottom and click the “Close Account” option.

5. Click “Continue”

Click “Continue.”

6. Select a reason for closing your account

LinkedIn will now ask why you’re closing your account.

Select an option from those presented on the screen, then click “Next.”

7. Give more information about why you’re closing your account

Provide more information on why you’re closing your LinkedIn account, then click “Next.”

8. Enter your password

Enter your password.

If you wish, click on the checkbox to not receive emails from LinkedIn.

Finally, click “Done” to complete the process.

You will see a message saying your LinkedIn account was closed.
