Delete your NBC News account in eight steps.

1. Access the NBC News website

Go to the NBC News website by clicking the following link: https://www.nbcnews.com/.

2. Sign in to your NBC News account

Click the profile icon located in the top right.

Select the option you use to access your NBC News account. 

3. Click your profile picture and “Manage Profile”

Click your profile picture located in the top right.

Then, click “Manage Profile.”

4. Click “Security”

Select “Security” from the left panel menu.

5. Click “Delete profile”

Scroll to the section ‘Delete your NBCUniversal Profile.’

Click the “Delete profile” button.

6. Click “Confirm”

NBC will tell you more about the account deletion process and how it might impact you. Read through this pop-up.

Scroll to the bottom and click the “Confirm” button.

7. Enter the email confirmation code

NBC News will send you a confirmation code to the email associated with your account.

In a new tab, go to your email inbox, find the email from NBC News, and copy or note down the code.

Enter the code.

8. Click the checkbox and “Delete my profile”

Click the checkbox.

Then, click the “Delete my profile” button to complete the deletion process.

You have deleted your NBC News account.
