To delete your Twitter (X) account, you must first deactivate it.
Deactivation initiates a 30-day waiting period during which you can decide if you would like to reactivate your account.
Once the waiting period has concluded and you have not logged into your Twitter (X) account during that time, your Twitter (X) account will be deleted permanently.

Walkthrough to Delete Your Twitter (X) Account
Delete your Twitter account in five steps.
1. Open X and log in
Go to X.com and use your username and password to log in to the platform.
2. Click “More” and “Settings and privacy”
Select “More” from the left-side menu.
Then, click “Settings and privacy.”
3. Click “Your Account” and “Deactivate your account”
Click “Your account.”
Then, click “Deactivate your account.”
4. Click “Deactivate”
You will be informed about the places and devices where your accounts will be closed.
Click “Deactivate.”
5. Enter your password and click “Deactivate”
To confirm the deactivation of your Twitter account, you must enter your password.
Then, click the “Deactivate” button.
A notification will open up informing you that your Twitter account has been deactivated.
You have successfully deactivated your Twitter (X) account. If you don’t log in for 30 days, your Twitter (X) account will be deleted.
