How to Delete Your US News Account

To delete your U.S. News account, you need to complete a request process. After that, your U.S. News will be deleted after a waiting period.

Walkthrough to Delete Your USNews.com Account

Delete your U.S. News account in four steps.

1. Access the U.S. News Website

Go to the U.S. News website by clicking the following link: https://www.usnews.com/.

2. Access the request form

There are two ways to access the request form: 

1. Access the U.S. News request form by clicking the following link: https://privacyportal.onetrust.com/webform/974d1b73-ff3b-472b-aa7b-a2754fa64dd5/1c90cc66-de0e-46cc-a476-933f7eede54f

2. Scroll to the bottom of the homepage and click the “Privacy Policy” link in the footer.

Scroll to the ‘Rights’ section and click the “Consumer Rights Request Form” link.

3. Fill out the request form

You will be redirected to an online form.

Choose your country from the drop-down list.

Then, enter your first name, last name, and email address (we recommend using a temporary email address).

Select who you are/the kind of account you have (customer or professional).

Select the right you want to exercise.

Choose what you want to delete.

Enter your request details.

Click the “I’m not a robot” checkbox.

Click the “Submit” button.

4. Click the email confirmation link

U.S. News will send you an email confirmation link to verify your identity.

Go to your email inbox.

Find the email from U.S. News and click the “Confirm Email” button.

You will be redirected back to the U.S. News website, where you will see a confirmation message that your request has been completed.

You have completed U.S. News account deletion request.
