Walkthrough to Delete Your Amazon Account
Delete your Amazon account in 5 easy steps.
1. Log in to amazon.com
Go to amazon.com and use your username and password to log in to the platform.
2. Open your account settings
Click the Account & List button at the top right of your screen.
3. Under Data and Privacy, click “Close Your Amazon Account”
Once you open your account settings, scroll down until you locate the “Data and Privacy” section and click “Close Your Amazon Account.”
4. Choose a reason for closing your account, confirm you want to close it, and click “Close My Account”
Scroll down and select a reason why you want to close your account.
Check the checkbox confirming that you want to permanently close your Amazon account.
Click “Close My Account.”
5. Click “Confirmation Account Closure” in your emails
You will see a message notifying you that a confirmation link will be sent to your email.
After receiving the email with the confirmation link, click the “Confirmation Account Closure” option.
You will see the following message when you click the confirmation link that was sent to your email:
Congratulations! You have now successfully deleted your Amazon account!
