Walkthrough to Deleting/Unlinking Your Wikipedia Account
Unlink your Wikipedia account from your personal information in 6 easy steps.
1. Access Wikipedia
To initiate the unlinking process, access Wikipedia by clicking on the following URL: https://en.wikipedia.org.
2. Log in
In the upper-right corner, click on the “Log In” button.
You will be redirected to the page where you log in to Wikipedia.
3. Access preferences
Click on the profile icon and click the “Preferences” option in the dropdown menu.
4. Click “User profile”
Select the “User Profile” option to access the personal information contained in your Wikipedia profile.
5. Change or remove your email address under Email Options
Scroll down to the “Email Options” section.
Here, you can replace or delete the email with which you created your account.
6. Click “Change email”
Click the “Change email” button to complete the unlinking process.
Congratulations! You have now successfully unlinked your email from wikipedia.org!
