1. Go to Yahoo website and log in
You can access the website by clicking on the following URL: https://yahoo.com.
Then, log in to your Yahoo account.
2. Click your profile icon and “Account information”
Click on your profile icon.
Click “Account information.”
3. Click “Privacy controls”
Click “Privacy controls.”
4. Click “Manage Your Information” or scroll down and click “Delete My Account”
Click “Manage your information.”
Alternatively, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Delete My Account.”
5. Click “Continue delete my account”
You will be redirected to a page where Yahoo will inform you about the things that will be deleted when you close your Yahoo account.
Scroll down and click “Continue delete my account.”
6. Confirm your email address and click “Yes, delete this account”
You will be redirected to a page where you will be asked to enter the email address of the account you want to delete.
Enter this information and click “Yes, delete this account.”
Your Yahoo account has been deactivated and will be permanently deleted after a waiting period.
Congratulations! You have now successfully deleted your yahoo.com account!
