Opt out of Persistent in three steps. 

1. Go to the Persistent website and click “Privacy Policy” in the footer 

Go to http://persistent.id/and scroll to the bottom of the page.

2. Scroll and click “data subject access request”

Scroll to the ‘How to Exercise Your Rights’ section.

3. Fill out the form

A new tab with an online form will open up. Fill out the form.

The ‘Website’ field should already be pre-filled with ‘Persistent ID.’

Enter your name.

Enter the email address you use to access the persistent website or app. 

Select who you’re submitting the request for.

Select which law you’re making this request under.

Enter any additional details about your request.

Click the three confirmation checkboxes.

Click the “Submit” button.
