1. Send CityData an email opt-out request 

To opt out of CityData, you need to send an opt-out request to privacy@citydata.ai.

CityData does not collect or store names, email addresses, or phone numbers, so to opt-out, you need to send them your IDFA (Apple iPhone) or ADID (Android phone) mobile identifier. This is how they will find your device in their database. 

To find your mobile identifier: 

  • iOS device. Go to the App Store and download “The Identifiers” app. Open the app to see your advertising identifier. 
  • Android. Open Settings, go to Privacy, click “Privacy,” click “Other privacy settings,” and click “Ads.” Your advertising identifier will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
