To opt out of Roq, you need to click an opt out button on their website/enter your advertising ID/change the settings on your Windows device. After that, your request should be processed immediately.

Opt out of Roq in two steps. 

1. Go to the Roq website and click “Opt Out” in the footer 

Go to https://www.roq.ad/ and scroll to the bottom of the page. 

Click “Opt Out” in the footer.

2. Choose how you want to opt out of Roq

Roq gives you several options for opting out.

If you choose “Desktop,” toggle off the button so it says “No” to ‘Is my browser being tracked?’

Note: You need to opt out on every device and browser you use. 

If you choose “iOS Device” or “Android Device,” enter your Identifier for Advertising (IDFA). 

To find your advertising ID: 

  • iOS device. Go to the App Store and download “The Identifiers” app. Open the app to see what your advertising identifier is. 
  • Android. Open Settings, go to Privacy, click “Privacy,” click “Other privacy settings,” and click “Ads.” Your advertising identifier will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.

If you choose “Windows Device,” go to ‘Settings,’ ‘System,’ and ‘Advertising ID.’ Turn off Advertising ID.

Your Roq opt-out request was submitted and processed.
