Opt out from Cision in five steps.
1. Go to the Cision website and click “Privacy Policy” in the footer
Go to https://www.cision.com/ and scroll to the bottom of the page.
Click “Privacy Policy” in the footer.
2. Click “Additional Information for California Consumers”
Scroll a little.
In the table of contents, click “Additional Information for California Consumers.”
3. Click the hyperlinked word “here” under ‘Submitting Requests’
Scroll down to the ‘Submitting Requests’ section.
Click the hyperlinked word “here.”
4. Fill out the form
Enter your first name, last name, email, and phone number.
Select your country.
Select your relationship to Cision.
Select your Data Subject Request Type.
Add any additional information (optional).
Click the “I’m not a robot” checkbox and complete the CAPTCHA.
Click the checkbox to certify the information you provided in the form is true and accurate and that you understand that Cision may seek additional information from you to locate your data.
Click “Submit.”
Cision will send you an email link to confirm your identity.
5. Click the email confirmation link
Go to your email inbox and find the email from Cision.
Note: If you don’t see the email from Cision, check your spam folder.
Click the “Confirm Email” button.
Your Cision opt-out request is confirmed.
