Claritas Listing Removal Walkthrough
Opt out of Claritas in three steps.
1. Go to the Claritas website and click “Do Not Sell Or Share My Personal Information” in the footer
Go to http://claritas.com/ and scroll to the bottom of the page.
Click “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in the footer.
2. Fill out the form
You will be redirected to an online form. Fill it out.
Select your privacy request under ‘Select request type(s).’
Enter your first name, last name, address, city, state, zip, email address, and phone number.
Select contact preference (voice or text).
Click the “I’m not a robot” checkbox.
Attach a photocopy of a state ID or current utility bill.
Click the “Submit” button.
3. Click the email confirmation link
Claritas will send you an email to confirm your request.
Go to your email inbox, find the email from Claritas, and click the “Confirm Email” button.
Note: If you don’t see the email from Claritas, check your spam folder.
Your Claritas opt-out request is confirmed. Claritas will now review it and contact you.
How to Contact Claritas
You can also make a Claritas opt-out request by calling 1-800-866-6511.
Alternatively, you can mail your request to Privacy Officer, Claritas, LLC, 8044 Montgomery Road, Suite 455, Cincinnati, OH 45236, USA.
Include your full name, address (including unit or suite number), gender, age, and telephone number.
Claritas requires a copy of a government-issued ID and a utility bill in your name to verify your identity and address (they say copies of documents are shredded after use).
