Cortera (now part of Moody’s Corporation) provides the “largest database of B2B credit information in North America.”

The platform’s customers can access businesses’ credit and payment scores and receive alerts from Cortera when customer risk changes.

Opt out of Cortera in two steps. 

1. Go to the Cortera website and click “Do Not Sell” in the footer 

Go to http://cortera.com/ and scroll to the bottom of the page. 

Click “Do Not Sell” in the footer.

2. Fill out the form

You will be redirected to a page with an online form. Fill it out. 

Enter your first name, last name, and email address. 

Select which database this request applies to. You can select “All.”

Click “I am a California resident” if you reside in California. 

Click the “Submit” button.

Your Cortera opt-out request was received and will be processed.

Note: Cortera might email you asking for more information to confirm that the personal information they have on file relates to you. If that happens, respond with the information they request. 

You should get a response within a few days regarding your opt-out request and whether Cortera found your information in their database.
