CoStar Listing Removal Walkthrough
Opt out of CoStar in four steps.
1. Go to the CoStar website and click “CA: Do Not Sell My Personal Info” in the footer
Go to http://costar.com/ and scroll to the bottom of the page.
Click “CA: Do Not Sell My Personal Info” in the footer under ‘Company.’
2. Click “here”
You will be redirected to a page with information on how to opt out for California residents.
Click the hyperlinked “here” in the second sentence.
3. Fill out the form
You will be redirected to a page with an online form. Fill it out. The form will expand as you select answers.
Select your residency country and state.
Select your user status (i.e., relationship to CoStar).
Select the products you use.
Select your request type. You can select multiple options.
Enter your first name, last name, and email.
Click the “I’m not a robot” checkbox.
Click the “Submit” button.
4. Click the email confirmation link
CoStar will send you an email confirmation link to verify your identity.
Go to your email inbox and find the email from CoStar.
Note: If you don’t see the email from CoStar, check your spam folder.
Click the “Confirm Email” button.
Your CoStar opt-out request was submitted.
