The platform provides instant background checks and identity verification services, allowing agents to assess potential clients before engaging in face-to-face meetings or transactions.

Important note: Consumers can’t request to opt out of FOREWARN under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or any other state law. Only individuals who have the legal right to non-disclosure/opt-out due to a risk of harm or similar threat can use the opt-out process on FOREWARN’s website.

Opt out of FOREWARN in four steps. 

1. Go to the FOREWARN website and click “Privacy” in the footer 

Go to http://forewarn.com/ and scroll to the bottom of the page.

2. Click “FOREWARN Non-Disclosure/Opt-Out Policy”

You will be redirected to the FOREWARN privacy policy.

Scroll to the ‘Your Choices’ section.

Click the “FOREWARN Non-Disclosure/Opt-Out Policy” hyperlink.

3. Fill out the form

A new tab will open up with details on the opt-out process.

Important note: Consumers can’t request to opt out of FOREWARN under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or any other state law. Only individuals who have the legal right to non-disclosure/opt-out due to a risk of harm or similar threat can use the opt-out process on FOREWARN’s website.

Scroll until you see the form. Fill it out.

Enter your name and address. Select the appropriate answer to ‘Have you lived here for more than 6 months?’ 

Enter your phone number and email address.

Select the basis for your request and provide additional information. 

Click the “I’m not a robot” checkbox.

Click the “Submit Request” button.

FOREWARN might contact you for more information.

For example, if you selected “I am an individual offered a legal right to non-disclosure/opt-out due to a risk of harm or similar threat,” they might ask you for proof of your employment in a specific field or occupation, like an employee identification card. 

If you selected “I am an individual otherwise subject to a serious risk of physical harm,” FOREWARN might ask you for support substantiating the threat against you, such as a police report or court order. 

How to Contact FOREWARN

You can also make your FOREWARN opt-out request by writing to FOREWARN, Non-Disclosure/Opt-Out Request, P.O. Box 812680, Boca Raton, Florida 33481.

Include information such as name, email address, phone number, address, and whether you’ve lived at your current address for 6 months or more.
