Martin-Data, or USInfoSearch, provides identity and background information. It lets you find people and assets, criminal records, phone records, bankruptcy records, real estate records, civil records, and more. 

According to Martin-Data’s website, the service is perfect for background checking, financial services, mortgage processing, identity verification, rental screening, fraud prevention, and skip tracing/people finding.

To opt out of Martin-Data, you must complete an online form and click an email confirmation link. Your request should be processed within 15 – 45 days.

Opt out of Martin-Data in five steps. 

1. Go to https://www.martindataoptout.com/ 

Go to the Martin-Data opt-out page by clicking the following link: https://www.martindataoptout.com/ 

2. Click “Get Started”

3. Fill out the form

You will be redirected to an online form. Fill it out. 

Enter your email and full name.

Click the “Submit” button.

You will now see a message asking you to check your email inbox.

4. Click the email confirmation link

Go to your email inbox and find the email from Martin-Data (the sender will be “DatabaseUSA”). 

Note: If you don’t see the email from Martin-Data, check your spam folder. 

Click the “Verify My Email” button. 

Note: The verification link will expire in 24 hours.

5. Fill out the (longer) form

You will now be redirected to a longer form. Fill it out. 

Select whom you are submitting the request for (yourself or someone else). If it is for someone else, a different form will load. 

Choose whether it’s a resident address or a business address.

Enter your personal information. 

Select your gender, month of birth, day of birth, and year of birth. 

Enter your first name, last name, address, city, state, and zip.

Enter your email address. This must match the email address you submitted earlier in the process. 

Enter your area code and phone number.

If you have additional addresses (like a previous residential address), click “Add Additional Addresses.”

Choose your request. You can select multiple requests. Confirm your request by clicking “Yes.” 

Click the “Submit” button.

Your Martin-Data opt-out request was received. Your information should be opted out within 15 – 45 days.
