Opt out of MediaMath in two steps. 

1. Go to the MediaMath website and click “Do Not Sell/Share My Personal Information” in the footer 

Go to http://mediamath.com/ and scroll to the bottom of the page. 

Click “Do Not Sell/Share My Personal Information” in the footer under ‘Privacy.’

2. Click “Click here to opt out of Sale/Share”

You will be redirected to a “CCPA Opt Out” page.

Scroll to ‘Additional Directions for opting out of sale/share.’

Click “Click here to opt out of Sale/Share.”

Your MediaMath opt-out request has been completed.

You have successfully opted out of MediaMath. 

Note: MediaMath has placed a cookie in your browser to recognize that you have made a choice to opt out. If you delete cookies, you will need to repeat the process above. 

If you use other browsers and devices, you will need to repeat the process on each one.

You can also make a MediaMath opt-out request by emailing privacy@mediamath.com

In your email, include your request to exercise your CCPA right to opt out of the sale/share of your personal information and provide your browser’s mathtag.com uuid cookie or your mobile device’s mobile advertising identifier. 

To find your browser’s mathtag.com uuid cookie:

Google Chrome:

  • Open Google Chrome.
  • Click the menu icon in the upper right corner and then click “Settings.”
  • Scroll to the ‘Privacy and Security’ section.
  • Click “Cookies and other site data.”
  • Click “See all cookies and site data.”
  • Locate and click the mathtag.com tab.
  • Click “uuid.”
  • Copy the identifier in the ‘content’ section.

Firefox:

  • Open Mozilla Firefox.
  • Click the menu icon in the upper right corner and then click “Web Developer.”
  • Click “Storage Inspector.”
  • A toolbox should appear at the bottom of the browser window that will display your “Cookie ID.”

To find your mobile advertising identifier (MAID):

  • iOS device. Go to the App Store and download “The Identifiers” app. Open the app to see what your advertising identifier is. 
  • Android. Open Settings, go to Privacy, click “Privacy,” click “Other privacy settings,” and click “Ads.” Your advertising identifier will be displayed at the bottom of the screen. 

You can also enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) to opt out of MediaMath.
