Opt out of OpenPeopleSearch in five steps. 

1. Go to the OpenPeopleSearch website and click “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in the footer 

Go to https://openpeoplesearch.com/ and scroll to the bottom of the page. 

Click “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in the footer.

2. Click “Start”

Click the “Start” button.

3. Select your state and click “Continue”

Select the state you live in.

Click the “Continue” button.

4. Click “Got It, Continue”

OpenPeopleSearch says that because it shares publicly available information only, it is exempt from the California Privacy Rights Act.

However, they still give you the option to remove your information. 

Click the “Got It, Continue” button.

5. Fill out the form

You will be redirected to an online form. Fill it out.

Click “+ Add Name” to enter your first and last name. Click “Add.”

Click “+ Add Address” to enter your address, city, and state. Click “Add.”

Click “+ Add Phone Number” to enter your phone number. Click “Add.”

Click “+ Add Email Address” to enter your email address. Click “Add.” 

Click the “Opt-Out My Info” button.

Your OpenPeopleSearch opt-out request was submitted and your data has been blocked from future sharing.
