Opt out of SheerID in five steps.
1. Go to the SheerID website and click “Your Privacy Choices” in the footer
Go to https://www.sheerid.com/ and scroll to the bottom of the page.
Click “Privacy Choices” in the footer.
2. Click “See My Options”
A pop-up window will appear.
Click the “See My Options” button under the ‘Privacy Options’ section.
3. Click “Don’t Sell or Share”
Select the “Don’t Sell or Share” button from the privacy options available.
4. Fill out the form
You will be redirected to a page with an online form. Fill it out.
Enter your request details.
Enter your first name, last name, email, and phone.
Click the “Submit” button.
5. Enter email verification code
SheerID will send you a verification code to the email you provided.
In a new tab, go to your email inbox and find the email from SheerID.
Note: If you don’t see the email from SheerID, check your spam folder.
Copy the code within the email.
Go back to the tab where you are completing a SheerID opt-out. Paste in the code you just copied.
Click the “Submit” button.
Your SheerID opt-out request was submitted.
You will get an email confirmation that your SheerID opt-out request was submitted.
A member of the SheerID team will also reach out to you by email when your opt-out request is completed.
