Veraset is a global location data provider. It offers both movement and visitation data.  

The company says that its data is aggregated and anonymized and does not include individuals’ personally identifiable information. 

However, it also says that its customers might build models to connect different devices (for example, create cross-device capabilities) that allow them to target specific sets of users across various devices and channels.

Opt out of Veraset in two steps. 

1. Go to the Veraset website and click “Your Privacy & Opt Out Rights” in the footer 

Go to http://veraset.com/ and scroll to the bottom of the page. 

Click “Your Privacy & Opt Out Rights” in the footer on the right side.

2. Fill out the form

Fill out the online form. 

Enter your first name, last name, and email address.

Select your request (Opt out, Deletion, Right to access, Right to know, Correction, Limited use of sensitive information). You can choose more than one option. 

Enter your advertising ID. 

To find your advertising ID:

  • iOS users. Go to the App Store on your phone and download My Device ID by AppsFlyer. Open the app to see your advertising ID.
  • Android users. Navigate to your phone’s Settings, select “Google,” click “All services,” and select “Ads.” The advertising ID is displayed at the bottom of the screen. 

Click the “I’m not a robot” checkbox. Complete the CAPTCHA.

Click the “Submit” button.
