Follow our NeighborWho opt out guide to remove yourself from this site.

NeighborWho is a data broker site that posts personal information about property owners online. This information can include your contact details (phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses with “last seen” date, known aliases, etc.), social media profiles, photos, information on your relatives and professional connections, career history, and more.

NeighborWho shares its database with BeenVerified, so removing yourself from BeenVerified will also remove you from NeighborWho. Removing yourself from NeighborWho requires you to fill out an Opt-Out form. Your listing should be removed within 72 hours.

NeighborWho Opt Outs FAQs

Here are some common questions that people have about NeighborWho.

What is NeighborWho?

NeighborWho is a data broker site that provides information about property owners. Users can search for information based on an address or owner’s name.

NeighborWho reports include data like:

  • Property owner’s full name
  • Maiden name
  • Age
  • Any known aliases
  • Address history
  • Current address (with a map and an in-depth property report)
  • Email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Current and historical real estate assets
  • Co-owners
  • Career history
  • Social media profiles
  • Online photos

Users can also choose to be notified whenever there are updates or changes in a property owner’s report, for example, when they create a new social media account or move.

Learn more about data brokers, including where they get their information and who they sell it to, in our in-depth data broker guide

Is NeighborWho legit?

NeighborWho is legit in that it gives you access to property owners’ personal information. However, the accuracy of data within reports can vary. Although some information may be correct, other data may be inaccurate or outdated.

Does NeighborWho cost money?

Yes, NeighborWho costs money. The site has two pricing plans:

  • 1-month membership for $26.89 per month.
  • 3-month membership for $17.48 per month.

Both options let you run 100 reports per month. Membership renews automatically every month.

What’s the difference between NeighborWho and BeenVerified?

BeenVerified owns NeighborWho. As a result, to remove yourself from NeighborWho, you will need to opt out from BeenVerified. Opting out from BeenVerified will remove your personal information from both BeenVerified and NeighborWho.

Although it may seem surprising, the fact that NeighborWho is selling your personal information is completely legal. This is because NeighborWho and other data broker sites get most of their information from public records, so they’re not breaking the law. That said, due to laws like the Fair Credit Reporting Act, NeighborWho information can’t be used for certain purposes, like tenant and employment screening.

Will NeighborWho relist my information after I opt out?

More than likely. Data brokers, including NeighborWho, tend to relist information as soon as they collect more of it. You must opt-out continuously to keep your data off these sites. Alternatively, you can subscribe to a data broker removal service like DeleteMe.
